Pan African Beach Day - October 12, 2024
Please join the Black Surfers Collective, for a day of fun, community, and connection at our Pan African Beach Day! This event is dedicated to celebrating and empowering our community, and providing a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space for everyone to enjoy the ocean.
Surf lessons are on a first-come, first-served basis, and we have 50 spots available! If spaces fill up you are welcome to join the Wait-List. You will receive an email confirming your spot. Sign up will be available starting October 1st.
Whether you’re a seasoned surfer, trying it out for the first time or just want to hang on the beach, there’s something for everyone! Bring your family and friends, food, games and be a part of our beach culture for our community.
If you would like to contribute further, contact us to become a volunteer, or talk to your friends about our cause.
The event will be held in partnership with Surfrider LA.
Volunteer for the Event!
We’d love for you to be a part of our upcoming event! Whether you can join us for the full day or for a specific time slot, we have plenty of opportunities to get involved. Volunteer positions include:

Or if you just want to come hang out and support, that’s perfectly fine too!
